Here it is, we are almost one year on from when it was first announced, but people are finally being let into the Warcraft 3 Reforged Beta.
Outside of users being able to play the infamous Stratholme mission that saw Arthas take his first steps into becoming the Lich King at last years Blizzcon, this is the first time people are able to get their hands on Warcraft 3 Reforged.

What is Warcraft 3: Reforged?
Warcraft 3 Reforged is a visual overhaul of the entirety of Warcraft 3. This includes both the standard Warcraft 3: Reign of Chaos and lauded expansion Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne. Blizzard have promised a complete overhaul of models, animations, voice lines and the general graphics of the game whilst throwing in 4k and ultra-wide resolution support to boot.
The game is due to be released on or before the 31st December 2019, but I get a surprising feeling that we’ll be seeing it shortly after Blizzcon wraps up, as Blizzard is looking to have an outstanding showing with Overwatch, World of Warcraft and Diablo news, and if the leaks are to be believed, a lot of fans will be very happy.
How do I get into the Warcraft 3: Reforged beta?
As usual with Blizzard beta’s, there’s not really a lot you can do to influence if you get into the beta or not. If you have marked yourself as open to beta invites in your BAttle.Net account then you may (or may not) receive an invite.
Seemingly the only way to influence this is to pre-purchase the “Spoils of War” edition for Warcraft 3: Reforged, which suggests you may be put into a priority queue for beta access. Be wary, as it is still not guaranteed. Keys will be sent out in waves, so keep an eye on your inbox and your Battle.Net launcher for more information.
